WHMI’s second Cares Radiothon finished Thursday with a preliminary total of $47,975 for four Livingston County organizations.

The 13-hour broadcast supported Livingston County United Way, LACASA Center, The Arc Livingston and Meals on Wheels. WHMI says 100 percent of the money raised will remain in the local community.

The on-air portion is over, but online donations remain open through 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14. The final total will not be known until that deadline passes.

This year’s goal is $75,000. The first Radiothon raised more than $52,000 in 2025.
