Livingston Connect uses cookies and browser storage to support sign-in, preferences and app functions. Your browser can block or clear this storage, although doing so may sign you out or reset saved choices.
Optional advertising measurement
Choose whether this browser may send a successful new-account registration event to Meta for advertising measurement. This is optional and starts off. Your choice is stored only in this browser; make it separately on each device. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals also prevent this event.
Optional Meta signup measurement is off unless you previously enabled it in this browser.
Turning this off stops future signup-measurement events from this integration. It does not remove information already sent to Meta or clear cookies set by Meta; use your browser and Meta’s privacy controls for those choices. Clearing browser storage resets this preference to off.
Google advertising choices
Google AdSense code is installed on our public news pages as of October 23, 2026. Ad display depends on approval and account settings. The Meta preference above does not control Google advertising. Where consent is required for Google ad serving, a separate advertising consent platform must provide those choices. You can also manage Google personalized advertising in My Ad Center and participating vendors through the Digital Advertising Alliance.
Push notifications and email
Manage push topics in notification settings. You can revoke notification permission in your browser or device settings. Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe link. These settings are separate from advertising preferences.
